Job Description SolutionsArchitect (Technical) TheSolution Architect (Technical) must have a strong foundation indesign development and implementation of cloudnative applicationsin a realtime enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will havea fullstack development background and be capable of designingmultiapplication crossfunctional solutions. You will be comfortabledelivering solution architecture in an Agile environment and willhave experience with CI/CD. Additionally you will exhibit beingcomfortable with domaindriven design and eventdriven architectureas well as possess expertise in secure application design. As aSoftware & Solution Architect within this IT organizationyou will be expected to deliver a mindset with a hunger to learnand apply newtechnologies.


Responsibilities:

Partner with business stakeholders to confirm understanding ofbusiness drivers andstrategy Leverageindustry and organizational standards patterns and best practicesto design technical solutions of varyingcomplexity Definethe principles that guide technology decisions for the segment anduse them to lead an application modernization and rationalizationagenda Analyze thecurrent technology environment to detect critical deficiencies andcollaborate with the Enterprise Architecture from other lines ofbusiness and delivery teams to recommend solutions forimprovement Rectifygaps and pain points within the current state by influencing thedevelopment communication and implementation of the enterprisetechnologyarchitecture.

Buildendtoend solution plans in the form of roadmaps that define thefuture state solution scope of solution initiatives and solutiondelivery sequencing through architecture transitionstates Effectivelyleverage appropriate design trade offs and cost/benefit analysisduring this processSupport integration design validation test andexecutionParticipate as a handson technical engineer for presalesengagementsEstablish and foster strong relationships with a broad audience ofcustomers service providers vendors partners peers andleadershipCollaborates with cross functional peers to establish and maintainorganizational best practices processes andmethodologiesRemains current on emerging technologies and conducts independentresearch to support business needs andrequirementso 15Years of experience in Information Technology having developed andarchitected large applications and platforms with experience insolution architecture software architecture Cloud Nativetechnologies Microservices Docker/Containers DevOps and Agiledevelopment
Skills:oExperience leading architecture solutions that leveraging modernsoftware engineering methodologies such as Event DrivenArchitecture Object Oriented Programming domaindriven designmicroservice architecture cloud native service mesh and clouddesign patterns both onprem & in thecloudo Track recordof success with application modernization andrationalizationoExperience in performing technical assessment of current state oflegacy systemsoExperience with transforming a legacy monolithic application to amicroservice basedapplicationo Trackrecord of delivering applications on cloudbased infrastructurethrough various project delivery and development methodologies(e.g. Agile/SAFe TDDetc.)o Experiencewith DevOps mindset architecture & toolset automateddeployment continuous integration and release engineeringtoolso Experiencewith utilizing software development tools and best practices i.e.
