This roleinvolvesresearchdevelopment and testing of adhesive formulations as wellascollaborationwith crossfunctional teams to bring new products tomarketsuccessfully.KeyResponsibilities:1.Research andAnalysis: Conductmarket research to identify trends customerneedsandcompetitive offerings in the adhesiveindustry. Analyzeexisting product lines and performance toidentifyareas forimprovement andexpansion.2.ProductConceptualization:Work closely with marketing sales and R&D teamstoconceptualize newadhesive products orproductenhancements.Define product specifications target markets andvaluepropositions.3.Formulation andDevelopment: Leadthe formulation and development of adhesiveproductsconsideringfactors such as bonding propertieschemicalcompositionand environmentalimpact. Collaboratewith chemists and engineers to optimizeproductformulations.4.Testing and QualityAssurance: Designand execute comprehensive testing andqualityassuranceprotocols to ensure product performanceandcompliance withindustry standards.Identify and address any product issues orinconsistencies.5.PrototypeDevelopment:Develop prototypes and pilot batches of new adhesiveproductsfor testingand evaluation.Modify formulations and features based on test resultsandfeedback.6.RegulatoryCompliance: Stayupdated on industry regulations and standards relatedtoadhesivesensuring that new products comply withrelevantguidelines.Prepare documentation for regulatory approvals ifrequired.7.CrossFunctionalCollaboration: Workclosely with crossfunctional teams includingR&Dmanufacturingsales marketing and customer supporttocoordinateproduct developmentefforts.Communicate progress challenges and projectstatuseffectivelyto stakeholders.8.Project Management:Develop project timelines budgets and resource plans fornewproductdevelopmentinitiatives. Ensureprojects are completed on schedule and withinbudget.9.IntellectualProperty: Identifyand protect intellectual property including patentsandtrade secretsrelated to new adhesive formulationsandtechnologies.10.Training and KnowledgeSharing: Traininternal teams sales representatives and customersonthe features andbenefits of new adhesiveproducts. Sharetechnical expertise within theorganization.Qualifications:Bachelors or Masters degree in chemistry chemicalengineeringmaterialsscience or a relatedfield. Provenexperience in adhesive product development preferably inarelevantindustry. Strongknowledge of adhesive chemistry andformulation.Proficiency in laboratory techniques andequipment.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industrystandards.Excellent problemsolving and analyticalskills. Effectiveproject managementabilities. Strongcommunication and collaborationskills. Attentionto detail and commitment to product quality andsafety.
