    Job Summary

    As a Tax Accountant at Keywords Studios, you will be responsible for preparing, submitting, and managing company or client tax statements and returns. This role requires thorough knowledge of tax regulations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. The Tax Accountant will work closely with clients or internal departments to optimize tax strategies and resolve any tax-related issues.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Experience in tax accounting.
    • Corporate Tax provisioning experience in a multinational environment.
    • Experience in Financial / Tax provisioning system, with ability to support implementation of new system and become expert user. Experience in systems implementation would be beneficial.
    • Ability to work with external tax professional firms and systems providers for preparation of Corporate Tax computations and provisions.
    • Intercompany recharge experience.
    • Other miscellaneous tax project work, including supporting preparation of Local Transfer Pricing files for entities in various jurisdictions.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in an Accounting or Tax department.
    • Proven track record in Tax Accounting and Compliance with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
    • In-depth experience with tax preparation, tax planning, and compliance documentation.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and utilize financial data effectively.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
    • Excellent organizational skills, with the capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with various stakeholders including senior management, clients, and tax authorities.
