    Job Purpose

    The Vice President – Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing marketing and communications strategy for all CRIF businesses in India spanning across Credit Bureau, Software, Analytics and Business Information verticals. The executive will deepen a fast-paced, mission-driven culture of integrity, accountability, responsibility, collaboration, and respect that reflects CRIF's values. As VP- Marketing, you will be responsible for creating strategic plans to establish and enhance our brand presence, allocating resources to different projects, and setting both short-term and long-term goals for the department.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop CRIF India's strategic marketing plan and craft strategies for all areas of marketing including Branding, PR, Digital, Events, Communications, and Creative
    • In consultation with the Regional Marketing Head, develop and recommend an annual plan for the Marketing and Communications vertical. The plan will set out objectives and specific activities to be pursued in each area of responsibility.
    • Collaborate with the business team to uncover insights for developing marketing and branding strategies for existing and new products.
    • Manage the use of external resources related to the marketing and communications function (e.g. digital agency, PR agency etc.).
    • Own the marketing budget and ensure the best utilization of the same with emphasis on return on investment.
    • Develop and implement annual events calendar related to conferences, product launch, organizational branding, or equivalent that ensures the efforts and resources time are utilized in a manner that provides the greatest return to the organization.
    • Set team goals, monitoring, and reporting on the same.
    • Team Development – Make decisions relative to the selection, promotion, utilization, retention, and compensation of the Marketing team.

    Requirements:

    • 12-15 years of experience in branding/marketing, preferably in the BFSI industry
    • Master's degree in marketing/communications from a top-tier business school
    • Hands-on experience and abreast with the latest developments in online and digital marketing
    • Experience in leading a team
    • Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritize goals
    • Excellent written & verbal communication skills to provide direction and feedback for creative and analytical components of the Marketing department.
    • Great interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and different functions across the organization.
    • Strategic thinker with a positive can-do attitude.
