Roles and Responsibilities

Perfumer should have experience in Matching, Modification, Developing, Evaluation, Application and Creation of PERFUMES.

Candidate should have through knowledge of all the chemicals and essential oils with their sensory profile.

Responsible for independently created fragrances for various category like EDP, Deo, Air care, Soaps etc..

Candidate should have excellent knowledge of fragrances notes and their creations.

Candidate should be well versed with analytical equipments like GC, GC-MS, LC-MS etc (optional)

and acquainted with inland and foreign regulations applied for fragrances. Handling to create the application sample for evaluation (Optional)

Perfumer create fragrance for all type of application mainly for INDIAN and International market.

Create fragrances according given parameters across fragrance group, Analyze and duplicate fragrances using application, Support to technician and analysts for carrying out fragrance extraction from finished fragrance products, Analyze and follow up the fragrance ingredients in the portfolio, continuously track new sources for ingredients and follow the updated in fragrance ingredients and techniques.

Creation of new Fragrances, Fragrance matching on customer brief for Personal care, Home care, Cosmetics and other Products.

Interpretation and formula finishing work for duplications, Create fragrances based on different concepts for different functional product in coordination with Marketing Department.

Create cost effective versions of classical and fine fragrances for different applications.

Actively participate in R&D projects for all category, Support to purchase Department to purchasing the fragrances materials.

Candidate should have Graduation /Post Graduation degree with Chemistry as a major subject with minimum of 7-8 years experience in independently creating fragrances for various categories.
