    The Senior Deal Desk Analyst serves as a primary internal contact across functional front- and back-office teams to ensure client proposals and solution designs are structured and processed according to both the client's needs and company policies.

    This position will oversee the requirements gathering and deal approval processes such that the approved solutions accurately reflect the business needs.


    The Senior Deal Desk Analyst will provide guidance throughout the lifecycle of sales opportunities, from the initial phases of business requirements identification to developing and executing strategies that fit the client's needs and are appropriately profitable to our business.

    This position will translate the business needs into actionable requirements by gathering enough information to make a solution possible, as well as helping drive clarity to make rational decisions.

    The position requires working across multiple time zones primarily in the US but may occasionally involve other regions of the world.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


    • Responsible for reviewing technical solutions for compliance to business process and objectives.
    • Manage both standard and nonstandard product and quote requests, with specific focus on toptier clients.
    • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure alignment with all partners in a repeatable manner.
    • Participate in presale discussions to understand clientspecific designs and sales strategies.
    • Contribute intelligence as subject matter expert to help manage deal construction to maintain healthy margins that meet performance metrics for specific products and inventory.
    • Continually and proactively develop and enhance the quality of policies, procedures, and behavior related to presale and postsale (handoff) activities.
    • Document, publish and advise on standards and best practices for all facets of a deal, product, operational, legal, and financial.
    • Expertly provide quote review and pricing approval support, ensuring compliance with company policy standards, and alignment with customerspecific agreements.
    • Make recommendations and provide guidance for approvals for nonstandard deal elements across internal stakeholders aimed at driving consistent terms and conditions across contracts.
    • Lead independent analysis and financial modelling required for structuring complex deals, taking into consideration companywide costs, recent trends, and other benefits for the partnership.
    • Work proactively to predict and minimize potential issues before they arise and resolve those that do in a timely manner.
    • Work closely with product owners and project managers as well as architects and lead members of technical staff.
    • Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure that deals are structured in compliance with regulatory and financial requirements.
    • Conduct indepth analysis of deal economics, including pricing, discounting, and potential tradeoffs, to provide insights that help guide the sales team's decisionmaking.
    • Possess a strong understanding of contract terms, negotiations, and potential legal implications, working in coordination with the legal team to ensure contracts are accurate and aligned with company policies.
    • Develop and maintain a system for tracking and analyzing the performance of deals postclosure, providing insights into the success and impact of different deal structures.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with deal structures, pricing changes, and contractual obligations, ensuring that the company's interests are protected.
    • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve deal review, approval, and documentation processes, enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Collaborate with key customers to understand their needs, preferences, and expectations, providing insights to help shape customized deal structures that drive customer satisfaction.
    • Effectively communicate and manage changes to deal processes, pricing models, or policies to both internal teams and external customers.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Technology Proficiency: Utilize relevant software tools (e.g., CRM, CPQ) to manage deal workflows, approvals, and reporting efficiently.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills demonstrated through messaging platforms, email, conference calls, and internal meetings to be able to clearly communicate deal structures, rationale, and potential outcomes to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment across departments.
    • Strong time management, organizational, critical thinking, and problemsolving skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to make personal connections with internal stakeholders.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Strong Microsoft Office365 software suite skills.
    • Ability to demonstrate good judgment and critical thinking in selecting the best method and/or techniques for obtaining desired solutions.
    • Ability to easily connect with both operational and business partners.
    • Ability to identify root causes of basic to moderately complex problems and create innovative and effective solutions to resolve.
    • Ability to make practical, realistic, and timely decisions after considering the facts, available organizational resources, and potential risks of basic to moderate problems or issues.

    • Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
    • Ability to identify information needed to solve basic to moderately complex problems and when to escalate or seek guidance.
    • Have complete knowledge of company processes, procedures, products, and services.
    • Moderate understanding of data center and telecom industry, products, and competitors.
    • Demonstrate good judgment and critical thinking in selecting the best method and/or techniques for obtaining desired solutions.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:


    • Bachelor's Degree in business required, MBA a plus.
    • Eight (8) or more years of experience working as a member of or closely with a mature Sales Strategy & Operations team.
    Three (3) or more years of experience in the following areas is preferred:

    • Commercial Deal Desk management
    • Interdepartment collaboration
    • Business Analytics and Sales productivity metrics.
