    Job Purpose:
    To oversee the procurement of packaging materials for the company, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and quality standards.

    The role involves sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers, as well as implementing cost-saving measures and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Sourcing and Procurement: Identify and source reliable suppliers for primary packaging materials (laminates, pouches, LDPE/HDPE bags, CFC, bottles, jars, labels, etc.).

    Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to optimize pricing and delivery times.
    Ensure timely procurement of packaging materials to meet production requirements.

    Supply Chain Optimization:
    Implement strategies to streamline the packaging supply chain and reduce costs.
    Monitor and analyze supply chain performance to identify areas for improvement.
    Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth material flow.

    Quality Assurance:
    Ensure that all packaging materials meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
    Conduct quality inspections and tests to verify product quality.
    Work with suppliers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

    Cost Management:
    Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
    Monitor market trends and explore alternative suppliers to optimize costs.

    Regulatory Compliance:
    Stay updated on packaging regulations and industry standards.
    Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

    Innovation and Improvement:
    Research and implement innovative packaging solutions to improve product presentation and reduce costs.
    Drive continuous improvement in packaging processes and procedures.

    Required Skills and Experience:
    Strong understanding of packaging materials and industry standards Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management Excellent negotiation and communication skills Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively A results-oriented approach and a focus on continuous improvement

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field MBA or PGDM from a reputed institute.
    Minimum 5 years of experience in Packaging Procurement.
    Certification in packaging engineering or supply chain management
