    Description

    Objectives of this role:

    • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times.
    • Raise the bar continually for writing fresh long format content for product description pages, website blogs, website homepages, press releases that connects with a desired audience and drives action.
    • Be adept at varying the voice, style, and other characteristics of messaging based on the industry, or target audience.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communications- and customer-related industry trends.
    • Stay current on the appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistent messaging.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Interpret briefs to develop long format content for the brand website & E-Commerce platforms in English.
    • Research and understand target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject-matter experts, and in-person meetings.
    • Write original long format content and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials.
    • Collaborate with a team of creative staff (editors, Graphic Designers, Brand Managers) from concept development to delivery of final product.
    • Present content concepts and final deliverables to internal team when requested.
    • Revise content based on internal feedback.

    Qualifications & Competencies:

    • Bachelors' degree (or equivalent) in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline.
    • 3-5 years' experience in content writing, preferably with a FMCG or FMCD brand.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
    • Proficiency to read, write and develop long format content for product description pages, blogs, digital PR articles, in English, Hindi or Hinglish.
    • Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually.
    • Comfortable working independently with little direction under tight deadlines.
    • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar.
    • Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent portfolio of work.
