    About the role

    As a Product Owner you will enable and inspire a multi-disciplinary and technically focused Squad to pursue its delivery of work. You will ensure that the work is operationally and strategically aligned to the Tribes mission and engage with other Product Owners to support and manage interdependencies. The role also requires to manage and lead journey experts who will be an integral part of the squad.

    What will your day look like

  • Work with Customer Service Operations Business to translate Business requirements into a backlog of work.
  • Maintains delivery oversight of the backlog, ensuring work is delivered to time quality and budget
  • A collaboration champion – You champion collaboration and build the expertise, capabilities and engagement of team members that are embedded across multiple squads.
  • Maintains commitment to change; engages with others to gain buy-in and act as an advocate for continuous improvement. Proactively identifies, support and drive opportunities for change.
  • Understands, accepts and supports the need for change and adapts own behaviours to changing circumstances and constructively provides input to change projects Problem Solving.
  • Ability to galvanize a diverse group of people around a common mission, while building a healthy Team culture.
  • People management skills with ability to manage and guide a team of Journey experts.
  • Understanding of current and prospective customer needs and expectations
  • Risk Savvy- Facilitate risk acceptance and put in place mitigation plans for any residual issues
  • Co-ordinate all business signoff / go-live activities
  • Contribute to operational impact assessment
  • What will you bring?

  • Scrum / Agile experience either as a Product Owner, Scrum Master or Product Management
  • Proven stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Strong level of problem solving, quantitative and analytical skills with evidence based decision making
  • Ability to multi-task, adapt and grasp new skills and content.
  • Experience in identifying, monitoring and managing risks, issues and dependencies, agreeing appropriate risk responses.
  • People and team management
  • Proven ability to collaborate actively with Technology Domains/Teams.
  • Experience in managing workflow applications, document management applications, Pega Robotics or Automation Anywhere.
  • Understanding of end to end Banking Operational Process or Customer Service Operations Domain Knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Previous experience in scoping and developing road maps for strategic pieces of work
  • Expertise in running technology applications with regards to asset/service health, risk and delivery management, vulnerability and security management
