    About the job:

    We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to expand our business across the APAC region. The right candidate will be target-driven and contribute to the strategy for growth for Lyve Global in the region - identify opportunities, acquire and deliver new customers/partners, and generate revenues.

    Responsibilities

    • Design, lead and execute an overall sales strategy to significantly drive long-term revenue generation across the APAC & Australia
    • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with money service business and financial institutions in the region.
    • Proactively identify and generate qualified opportunities, acquire new partnerships, and close deals.
    • Hands-on management of the end-to-end sales cycle, including lead generation, negotiating commercial terms, working closely with key stakeholders of prospects to close deals, and with internal and partner teams to deliver 'go lives'
    • Excellent communication and internal coordination to ensure adherence to LYVE compliance, regulatory and governance policies.
    • Effectively communicate the needs of customers/partners to internal stakeholders for a seamless customer journey.

    Requirements

    • 10+ years of experience in business development with a strong network of contacts and a proven track record in Information Technology / FMCG / Software and/or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products company Go-to-Market.
    • Entrepreneurial and strategic mindset with excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills.
    • Results-oriented with great skills in communication, organization, and negotiation
    • Deep knowledge and expertise in cross-border payments, with a strong ability to articulate potentially complex payment flows in detail to customers/partners.
    • Strong sense of initiative, adept in working both independently and as part of a global team.
    • Ensure effective working relationships with all relevant customers/partners and internal stakeholders.
    • Hands-on, self-motivated, disciplined, takes ownership of the job at hand.
    • Strong awareness of compliance risks and regulatory frameworks.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Fluent in English, additional language is a strong plus.
    • Travel will be required.
