We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer with expertise in SQL to join our team. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide insights into our organization's data. Additionally, you will utilize your SQL proficiency to extract and manipulate data from databases to feed into Power BI solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI to meet the needs of various stakeholders.
2. Collaborate with business users to understand their reporting requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
3. Design and implement data models within Power BI to support complex reporting needs, including relationships, calculations, and aggregations.
4. Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple data sources using SQL queries and stored procedures.
5. Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and consistency within Power BI reports.
6. Optimize SQL queries and database performance to improve data retrieval speed and efficiency.
7. Develop and maintain documentation for Power BI reports, data models, and SQL queries.
8. Conduct training sessions and provide support to end-users for accessing and navigating Power BI reports.
9. Stay updated with the latest features and capabilities of Power BI and SQL Server technologies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience (X years) developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
3. Proficiency in SQL querying and database management, with experience working with SQL Server, MySQL, or similar database systems.
4. Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and experience building data models within Power BI.
5. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions using Power BI and SQL.
6. Familiarity with data visualization best practices and principles.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with other data visualization tools such as Tableau or QlikView.
2. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and practices.
3. Experience with data integration tools and techniques.
4. Familiarity with advanced analytics and predictive modeling techniques.
5. Certifications in Power BI or SQL Server technologies.
