• Minimum 3yrs of relevant work experience.
• Can search for candidates with SDS/Container background.
• Can look for candidates with Storage Management/Linux Admin, alternatively.
• Hands on experience in Storage infrastructure

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in any storage technology.
• Relevant Certifications will be an added advantage.

• Development and testing new features and versions of CEPH
• Development of automations to improve efficiency and quality of the CEPH
• Advanced handson knowledge in at least some of the solutions used in the cloud platforms such as OpenStack and CEPH
• Advanced Experience in automation tools like Ansible, Puppet and Terraform
• Experience on Kubernetes is appreciated
• Strong knowledge of k8s and specially setting up pv and pvc backed by ceph
• Good to have
• Strong knowledge of openstack projects like cinder and glance, specially integrating ceph as backend.
• Good to have
• Strong experience in scripting (Python/Bash/helm/etc)
• Familiarity with automation tools (Puppet/Ansible/Chef/etc)
• Virtualization and container technologies Skills
• Mandatory :
• Previous experience setting up, configuring, and deploying Ceph storage systems
• Deployment knowledge by Ubuntu/canonical charm using Juju ceph, openstack
• Fluent in Linux (CentOS/Debian/Ubuntu/suse)
• Networking troubleshooting
• Good exposure on erasure coding
• Exposure/knowledge about object storage using Rados gateway
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge on CEPH required
