    Job Summary

    A dynamic data engineer with Apache Spark and AWS experience is sought to join the data analytics team at Gainwell Technologies. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively to design, develop, and deploy frameworks for data collection, normalization, transformation, storage, and reporting on AWS to support analytical missions.

    Your Role in Our Mission

    • Design and develop data pipelines using Apache Spark Framework, including ETL-processes for data extraction, processing, and delivery.
    • Monitor, manage, validate, and test data extraction, movement, transformation, loading, normalization, cleansing, and updating processes.
    • Collaborate with users to understand data needs and ensure timely delivery of data, focusing on quality, reuse, consistency, security, and regulatory compliance.
    • Closely work with team members on data models and schemas within our data warehouse.
    • Contribute to documenting source-to-target mapping with team members.
    • Develop and visualize data frameworks that meet business requirements.
    • Maintain effective communication with various stakeholders, both internal and external.

    Key Requirements

    • At least 6 years of technical experience in product design and support, preferably with health and human services experience.
    • Strong knowledge of technology architecture, cloud technologies, software as a service, and product configurations.
    • Excellent skills in manipulating relational databases, event subscription-based communication, and software development between modules.
    • Ability to lead assigned work, mentor junior colleagues, and take decisive action in ambiguous situations.
