    Job Description

    Your role as an Architect in the Cloud Engineering team involves:

    • Designing and Conducting Cloud and DevSecOps maturity assessment.
    • Providing Solutions and Architecting end-to-end CI/CD Solutions for automating software delivery across various clients.
    • Participating actively in high-level team activities for suggesting Architecture improvements, recommending process enhancements, and evaluating tools.
    • Serving as a hands-on subject matter expert for DevOps and Automation in an Azure infrastructure.
    • Automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM, or Ansible.
    • Mentoring the team to implement CI/CD pipelines for technology stacks like Java, Angular, .Net, Python, Bigdata.
    • Integrating Security tools into the CI/CD Pipeline such as SonarQube, CheckMarx, WhiteSource, Veracode, Fortify.
    • Writing automation scripts using Linux Bash, Python, Groovy, PowerShell, and working with Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell.
    • Utilizing open-source technologies for DevOps Script development.
    • Designing frameworks with various tools to implement orchestration solutions.
    • Building web-based tools for automation and working with Azure SDK.
    • Managing data sources like MySQL, Mongo, Cosmos DB, Redis, Cassandra, Hadoop, among others.
    • Designing branching strategies for source control like SVN, GIT, Bitbucket.
    • Evaluating, implementing, and streamlining DevOps practices.
    • Demonstrating good communication and presentation skills.

    Skills and attributes required for success:

    • Proficiency in developing system architecture design and high-level architecture documents for DevOps implementation.
    • Ability to identify gaps in customers' DevOps tools & processes maturity and suggest improvements.
    • Skilled in assessing and mitigating project risks.
    • Experience in creating sustainable systems through automation.
    • Proficient in leading DevOps workshops for organizational alignment.
    • Strong analytical skills, flexibility, and leadership abilities.
    • Designing, building, and implementing DevOps solutions for projects of various complexities.
    • Instrumentation strategy design for applications onboard to DevOps platform.
    • Monitoring and observability implementation using various tools.

    Requirements for the role:

    • 12+ years of experience in Cloud and DevOps transformation projects.
    • Executing change programs with a DevOps transition.
    • Defining change management strategies based on business drivers, objectives, and behaviors.
    • Experience with Azure Cloud, scripting knowledge, Docker/Kubernetes, IaC tools, Config Mgmt. tools, and deployment strategies.
    • Hands-on experience in Azure and strong cloud architecture knowledge.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Microsoft Certified in related areas, experience with various technologies and methodologies.
