    Job Description:
    This is a blended role that requires Analytical skills along with experience in Procurement.

    Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle to determine required materials purchases.

    Obtains materials using engineering and production schedules to maintain inventory at planned levels (i.e., Just in Time purchases, use of EOQ - Economic Order Quantities).

    Resolves discrepancies. Creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise wide systems. Ensures material standards are met and non-conformances or variances are approved and/or minimized. Develops specifications for new contract orders. Gathers quotations, examines bids and makes awards. Monitors cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value. Evaluates vendor reliability and develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are no longer competitive.


    The Procurement Planner and Buyer takes plans, schedules and monitors logistics and supply chain services provided by NTT with the objective of achieving cost benefits, and customer satisfaction through the best possible solutions (flow of material, value, information) as well as optimising the processes and the use of resources.

    These individuals contribute to the execution of supply chain strategy that defines the connection and combination of activities and functions throughout the value chain.


    Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    Cost analysis:
    Should have sound hands on experience in analyzing cost and advise on cost efficiency.
    Should have strong data analysis experience.


    Procurement:
    Should have worked in a procurement teamHas good knowledge of procurement activities and negotiationsHands on experience in various aspects of procurementGood commercial acumen


    SAP Procurement Support:
    Excellent knowledge of SAPGenerate and analyze SAP reports related to procurement activities.
    Troubleshoot SAP-related issues and provide training and support to colleagues as needed


    Vendor Management:
    Support vendor selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring processesAssist in maintaining vendor records and communication


    Cost Analysis:
    Help analyze procurement data and cost information within SAP for cost-saving opportunities.
    Support cost control initiatives and budget tracking.


    Reporting:
    Generate and maintain procurement reports in SAP, summarizing key metrics and KPIs.
    Assist in preparing reports for management to monitor procurement activities.


    Team Collaboration:
    Work closely with other procurement teams to coordinate.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance and inventory management,.
