- ServiceNow Development: Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions to meet business requirements.
- Customization: Customize ServiceNow applications and modules according to organizational needs.
- Integration: Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications using various integration methods (REST, SOAP, MID Server, etc.).
- Workflow Configuration: Configure workflows, business rules, UI policies, and other ServiceNow components.
- Scripting: Write and maintain client-side and server-side scripts (JavaScript, GlideScript, etc.) for custom functionalities and automation.
- Data Management: Manage data within ServiceNow including configuration management database (CMDB) setup and maintenance.
- Reporting and Dashboards: Create and configure reports, dashboards, and analytics in ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow platform and custom applications.
- Documentation: Document technical designs, processes, and procedures related to ServiceNow development and maintenance.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, system administrators, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Stay Updated: Stay abreast of ServiceNow updates, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve solutions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum X years of experience working with ServiceNow development, with at least X years in a senior or lead role.
- ServiceNow Certification: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in ServiceNow platform development including UI customization, business rule configuration, and workflow development.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture and components such as Service Catalog, Incident Management, Change Management, etc.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow integration techniques and tools.
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting languages like JavaScript, GlideScript, Jelly, etc.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the success of the overall project.
