As a Kairos Academic Counselor, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students in their academic journey. This role is based in New Delhi, Delhi, India, and requires a Junior level experience of 1 to 3 years. It is a full-time position.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
    • Junior level experience of 1 to 3 years in academic counseling or a related role
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong understanding of educational programs, pathways, and career options
    • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with students
    • Good organizational and time management skills
    • Knowledge of student support services and resources
    • Sales and sales management skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proficiency in MS Office and educational software

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Provide academic counseling to students, helping them choose courses and programs based on their interests and career goals
    • Assist students in creating academic plans and setting achievable goals
    • Conduct regular check-ins with students to monitor their progress and offer support
    • Provide guidance on course selection, prerequisites, and program requirements
    • Help students navigate any academic challenges they may face and provide appropriate solutions
    • Stay updated on educational trends, programs, and opportunities to provide accurate and up-to-date guidance
    • Maintain records of student interactions and progress
    • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure an integrated approach in supporting students
    • Participate in relevant training and professional development activities to enhance counseling skills
    • Contribute to the development and improvement of counseling programs and resources
