Position Overview:
We are seeking anexperienced and skilled Senior Database Developer to join ourdynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years ofhandson experience in database development with a strong focus onNeo4j (graph) databases.

The role involves working on cuttingedgeprojects contributing to data modelling and ensuring thescalability and efficiency of our databasesystems.


Responsibilities:
Designdevelop and maintain databases with a primary focus on Cypher/graphdatabases.
Modify databases according torequests and perform tests.
Advanced Queryperformance tuning of databases and optimization of databasesystems.
Solve database usage issues andmalfunctions.
Analyze all databases andmonitor them for all design specifications and prepare associatedtest strategies.
Evaluate and engineerefficient backuprecovery processes for variousdatabases.

Promote uniformity ofdatabaserelated programming effort by developing methods andprocedures for database programmingRemaincurrent with the industry by researching available products andmethodologies to determine the feasibility of alternative databasemanagement systems communication protocols middleware and querytools.

Liaise with developers to improveapplications and establish bestpractices.
Ensure the performance securityand scalability of database systems.
Developand optimize PL/SQL queries for efficient data storage andretrieval.
Implement and maintain data modelsensuring accuracy and alignment with businessneeds.
Train mentor and motivate the juniorteam members.
Contribute in assessing theteams performance evaluation.
Stay updated onemerging database technologies and contribute to continuousimprovement initiatives.


SkillsRequired:
7years work experience as a DatabasedeveloperBachelors or masters degree incomputer science Engineering or a relatedfield.
Proficiency in Neo4j (graph) databasesis mandatory.
Strong experience with PL/SQLdata modeling and database optimizationtechniques.
