Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant with mandatory experience in the hotel industry. The ideal candidate should be available for immediate joining and will be based in Ernakulam.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with accounting principles and standards.
2. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
3. Monitor and analyze budget variances.
4. Oversee the general ledger functions.
5. Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
6. Ensure compliance with local and national tax regulations.
7. Coordinate with external tax advisors for tax planning and filing.
8. Facilitate internal and external audit processes.
9. Implement audit recommendations and resolve discrepancies.
10. Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions.
11. Monitor cash flow and financial transactions.
12. Implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant in the hotel industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and budgeting processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficient in relevant accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Immediate availability for joining is mandatory.
