We are looking for content strategy execution partner, not just a copywriter. Content Specialist (Website) to support the development and optimization of website content.
The role requires a strong understanding of content structure, SEO, and user intent, along with the ability to create and refine copy that aligns with existing content and business goals.
What you'll do:
Content Structure
Understand the existing and proposed website architecture, content hierarchy, and user journeys
Ensure content consistency across the site in terms of tone, messaging, and structure
Content Creation & Optimization
Write and edit website copy and identify imagery that not only aligns with brand voice and existing content but also fits the proposed new structure for the webpages.
Refresh and improve existing content to enhance clarity, relevance, and performance
Proactively raise risks and dependencies in a timely manner
SEO & Performance Thinking
Clear understanding of integrating SEO elements (heading structure, page hierarchy, internal linking, URL structure to the content etc)
Create content with both users and search engines in mind
Collaboration & Feedback
Present content rationale clearly and be open to feedback and iterations
Incorporate feedback constructively while maintaining content quality and strategy
Who you are:
3-6+ years of experience in website content, content strategy, or SEO-led content roles
Has worked on content-heavy or marketing websites
Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on writing
Detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative
What you bring:
Core Skills
Strong website copywriting and editing skills
Solid understanding of content strategy and information architecture
Working knowledge of SEO best practices (on-page SEO, search intent, keywords, internal linking)
Ability to align new content with existing content and brand voice
Clear understanding of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, Contentful, sitecore)
Strategic & Analytical Thinking
Ability to think in terms of user journeys, funnels, and content ecosystems
Attention to detail while maintaining a big-picture perspective
Comfortable auditing existing content and making improvement recommendations
Collaboration & Communication
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Proactive in raising questions, dependencies, and content needs
Open to feedback and comfortable working in iterative environments
Tools & Nice-to-Have Skills
Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog)
Basic understanding of UX writing principles
Experience working with designers and developers on website projects
