    Job Overview

    We are looking for an experienced IB EYP Homeroom Teacher to join our team at Teacher Pool. As an IB EYP Homeroom Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and guiding young learners in the IB Early Years Programme. The role is based in Koramangala, Bangalore and is a full-time position.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field
    • Valid teaching certification, preferably in the IB Early Years Programme
    • 1-3 years of experience as an IB EYP Homeroom Teacher
    • Passion for working with young children and understanding of their developmental needs
    • Knowledge of the IB Early Years Programme framework and its implementation
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing educational needs
    • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Create and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum based on the IB Early Years Programme framework
    • Ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment for young learners
    • Plan and conduct engaging and interactive lessons that promote the holistic development of students
    • Provide individualized support and guidance to students to meet their learning needs
    • Monitor and assess student progress, and provide feedback to parents/guardians
    • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the learning experience
    • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and other relevant information
    • Participate in professional development activities to stay updated with the latest teaching practices
    • Build a positive and inclusive classroom culture that fosters respect and empathy
    • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
    • Contribute to the overall development and improvement of the school's educational programs
