- Conceptualization: Develop original design concepts for marketing campaigns, branded merchandise, social media assets, and other key visual touchpoints.
- Visual Execution: Design a wide range of assets, including logos, advertisements (print and digital), website graphics, email templates, presentations, product packaging elements, and more.
- Brand Stewardship: Ensure consistency across all visual materials. Adhere to and help evolve moCal brand guidelines for style, colors, typography, and imagery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and other teams to understand project goals and translate them into effective visual designs.
- Time Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Experience: 1-2 years of professional design experience, ideally with a portfolio showcasing work in branding and marketing.
- Software Proficiency: Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Experience with web design tools or video editing software a plus.
- Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design choices and receive feedback effectively.
- Design Thinking: Strong understanding of design principles (layout, typography, color theory), and the ability to translate abstract concepts into visually appealing solutions.
- Experience in motion graphics or animation
- Understanding of user experience (UX) principles
- Familiarity with social media platforms and design trends
