Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Boomi Platform Architect/Sr Platform Engineer with 7+ years of expertise in architecting a Boomi integration platform in Cloud, preferably in AWS. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of architecting Highly available Boomi runtimes in AWS with disaster recovery solution for Boomi runtimes in AWS. The Architect/Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing the platform, developing needed services, and architect messaging platform, with a primary focus on cloud-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up Boomi run time environments and configurations preferably for Boomi on AWS.
• Comprehend the Private Atom Cloud Architecture, as well as adept configuration and fine-tune Atom workers tailored to various application load.
• Design Boomi integration platform architecture, integration points for connecting business systems utilizing integrations with SaaS, AWS or on-premises systems.
• Implement release and deployment processes using CI/CD pipeline, automation & create test payloads.
• Onboard integrations to transaction monitoring dashboard (using AppDynamics) and measure KPIs for business teams.
• Analyze and document the upstream and down-stream dependencies of Boomi APIs looking at the bigger picture of business processes.
• Participate and conduct knowledge transfer sessions and guide developers to create integration flow documents.
• Analyze and interpret logs (Process/Atom Logs) for resolving critical platform issues.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 7+ years as an Integration Architect, designing, developing, and implementing integration platforms & solutions utilizing Boomi, hosted in AWS.
• Hands-on experience in platform administration and solutions (like Disaster Recovery, Access Management, Platform Maintenance, Service Onboarding & Shutdown) & performance testing.
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns (Asynchronous, Pub-Sub), API management, Messaging APIs (JMS, STOMP, AMQP, REST), message queuing, and other integration technologies.
• Thorough understanding of REST, SOAP, Web services and API Communication protocols S/FTP/S, HTTP/S, File I/O etc.
• Strong experience in using API designing, API security for REST APIs.
• Strong experience of using Boomi AtomSphere APIs and with help of API how to control various aspects of the integration platform, streamlining the development, deployment, and management of integration processes.
• Strong experience in configuring and troubleshooting Boomi connectors.
• Strong working experience designing message broker/queueing platforms such as Boomi Atom Queues, Solace, Kafka, , JMS for implementing Pub/Sub or Asynchronous patterns for integration interfaces.
• Experience building continuous delivery (DevOps) pipelines for Kafka, NiFi & RabbitMQ/ActiveMQ components.
• Strong proficiency in Boomi specific programming languages such as Groovy, JavaScript or Python and Boomi Process building, development and good understanding of various data formats XML, JSON, CSV, Database is an add-on.
• Strong experience with enterprise application security (API/Messaging) and Boomi code vulnerabilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
