    Responsibilities:

    Team Leadership and Development:
    Lead training programs to enhance team knowledge of best practices in cash management. Mentor team members and stay updated on industry trends and changes.


    Cash disbursement oversight:
    Supervise the processing of cash disbursements, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, policyholders, and other stakeholders. Implement verification processes to maintain comprehensive records.


    Advanced bank reconciliation:
    Lead regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the company%27s accounting system. Identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly to maintain financial integrity.


    Financial analysis and reporting:

    Prepare and analyze detailed reports on cash flow activities, providing insights into the company%27s liquidity position and supporting strategic decision-making processes.


    Compliance and risk management:
    Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements related to cash disbursements and bank reconciliations. Develop strategies to minimize risks and prevent fraud.


    Process optimization:
    Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements within the cash disbursement and reconciliation functions. Enhance efficiency and accuracy through innovative solutions.


    Stakeholder communication:

    Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external partners, such as banks and vendors, to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues related to cash transactions.


    Data integrity management:
    Oversee the management and maintenance of accurate records of cash transactions in accounting systems. Ensure data integrity and accessibility for analysis and reporting purposes.


    Minimum Qualifications:
    .Commerce Graduate / Postgraduate
    .Relevant years of experience in R2R Cash disbursements & Bank reconciliations
    .Experience in working with an insurance client will be an added advantage

    Preferred Skill Set:
    .Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
    .Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
    .Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues to senior management
    .Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
    .Self-starter, with ability to work under own initiative
    .Strong time management skills
    .Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
