RoleDescription
This is a fulltime onsite role for a WordpressDeveloper at WHY Global Services located in Egmore.

The Wordpressdeveloper will be responsible for backend and frontend webdevelopment responsive web design web design web development andcreating endtoend solutions for clients based on their businessgoals andneeds.

Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing new features and functionality forWordPressbased websites.
including modification andcustomization of existing themes and plugins as needed.
Ensuring highperformance and availability of websites optimizingcode and server configurations for speed and efficiency.
Collaborating with designers other developers and project managersto deliver projects on time and within budget.
Troubleshooting and debugging issues with WordPress sites includingcompatibility issues with plugins
Performing websiteupdates and maintenance tasks including backups security monitoringand performance optimization.
Staying uptodate with thelatest trends and best practices in WordPress development and webdevelopment ingeneral.

Qualifications:
Proficiency in WordPress development including strong knowledge ofPHP HTML CSS JavaScript and MySQL.
Familiarity withfrontend development frameworks such as Bootstrap orFoundation.
Understanding of web standards accessibilityand best practices for SEO.
Ability to work independentlyand as part of a team with strong communication and collaborationskills.
Attention to detail and commitment to deliveringhighquality work.
Experience with version control systemssuch as Git is a plus.
Bachelors degree in computerscience or a related field or equivalent work experience.
