Roles &Responsibilities will include: Review business/ software requirements and provideinputs. Prepare /review test plans.
Review test cases test scripts and testdata. Execute tests(manual /automated). Reportdefects and assist in theirunderstanding.
Analyze test results and track software testingmetrics. Prepareand present testreports. Trainmentor and supervise junior softwareengineers. Workingwith clients to understand their business needs and goals so thatthe testing process can be designed to meet theirneeds Developingautomated testing scripts using a variety of programming languagessuch as Java C# Python orPerl Reviewingapplications for potential defects or flaws in design orfunctionality before they are released to thepublicParticipating in meetings with other members of the developmentteam to discuss testing strategies and issues that have arisenduring testingDesigning test cases to ensure that new features work properly withother existingfeatures Performingmanual testing of applications to identify bugs or errors infunctionalityAnalyzing data from previous tests to identify common issues orproblems that should be addressed during newtests Reportingbugs and test results to programmers or project managers forfurtherinvestigationCreating documentation about test results and procedures for futurereference
