PRODUCT MANAGER - ROLE SUMMARY:

As a strategic leader, Product Manager is in charge of a broad scope of product-related activities, related to

1. Product strategy >Product vision >Product design >User research

2. Product development > Product growth and marketing >Product analytics and metrics

3. Structuring the product organization

4. Initiatives across the entire product lifecycle > from customer discovery and user research to development and delivery.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:-

1. Define and Conceptualize the Products
2. Define new functions and features in the products
3. Define Product Roadmaps and bringing new technologies into the products
4. Induct innovative features and functions in the product
5. Draft Technical, functional and non-functional requirements of the products
6. Decide backlog priorities based on business needs and loading for R&D development
7. Guide cross functional project team to achieve Project Goals
8. Experience in working with product development team (Software and Hardware)
9. Can define marketing and sales strategy
10. Help Sales & Marketing team on product positioning and pricing
11. Conduct product launch session to partners
12. Work directly with large and very large Sis/Customer on turnkey projects
13. Familiar with VOC and deciding business priority based on QFD
14. Familiar with R&D development processes (Agile, SCRUM)
15. Manage LCV, ROI, P&L of the products.

DESIRED SKILL CHARACTERISTICS:-

1. Leadership

· Excellent leadership skills to supervise and oversee the entire product organization

· Ensures that initiatives run smoothly across internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.

· Capable of facilitating communication across the company (between engineers, designers, marketers, customer-facing teams, etc.) and preventing organizational silos.

· Act as a supervisor to product leads who are responsible for development, UX, and marketing.

· Should also have extensive experience in managing and mobilizing cross-functional teams.

2. Strategic product vision

· Responsible for the "why" of the product and what to build next.

· Capable of aligning the company around their overarching vision.

· When it comes to individual features and products, ensure that they are in line with business objectives and make adjustments when necessary.

3. Sensitivity to customers and users

· Deeply understand the problems, needs, and desires of customers.

· Conducting customer discovery with other members of the product team and building excellent product experiences, identifying proper positioning in the market, and more.

· Capable of making product success even in the most competitive of industries.

4. An eye for data

· As the leader of the product, the Manager - ACTA-PMT must make objective, data-driven decisions.

· Experiences to define the metrics related to product performance and track them on an ongoing basis.

· Define, Review, Analyze, Control and take responsibility of Revenue and profits

· User activity and engagement within the product

· Churn rate and retention

· Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate whether products or specific features have reached product/market fit

SKILLSET|QUALIFICATION|EXPERIENCE

· Preferably from Video Surveillance /Access Control /Security Product industry

· Rich experience in product management/product life cycle management with electronic background

· Skills on technical story writing / specification writing/ Logical flow charts etc.

· Good verbal and written communication skills in English

· Outspoken/ Out of the box thinker (not introvert)

· Exposure in LCV/ROI/ P&L of products

· Exposure in UAT of the products Project management experience of AGILE, SCRUM (added advantage)

· Bachelor or master's degree with Electronics background (EC, CSE, ECE, EEE, IT) OR MBA (marketing)
