    Description:
    The job entails developing and implementingsales strategies for growth of the food ingredients business unit.
    This position is responsible for developing new business andmanaging existing accounts as assigned.

    Focus of this role will beon actively promoting and selling products to achieve the divisions sales targets along with sales team.


    Duties &Responsibilities:

    1. Responsible for meeting the top linevolume and value targets for the financial year in line with FoodIngredient Business s growth plan andstrategy.2. Develop plan and implement salesstrategies for new customer acquisition.3.Develop plan and implement sales strategies for achieving maximumsales potential from the existingcustomers.4. Ensure regional expansion toincrease reach and distribution in line with Food IngredientBusiness strategy.5. Generate monthlyquarterly and annual sales forecast and ensure its effectiveimplementation.6. Develop new Key Accountsand ensure sustainable growth & profitability of theseaccounts as per the annual target.7. Carryout product gap analysis on an ongoing basis and provide input forthe Sourcing team to identify newprincipals.8. Develop proper marketintelligence and carry out competitor analysis to identify anddevelop Ankush s unique selling propositions and differentiatorsfor our products basket.9. Carry out marketmapping & potential analysis for all the regions with thehelp of regional sales managers and salesteam.10. Ensure regular monitoring ofcollection to ensure no payment over dues as per the agreednorms.11. Coordinate with customer servicesteam / warehouse for all dispatch related matters. Should visit thewarehouse every month to physically check stock positions productquality shelf life related aspects to ensure there is no dead stockat any point of time.12. Ensure 1215 days ofcustomer visits in a planned manner covering all key customers /sales regions.13. Mentor and coach salesteam on an ongoing basis to develop their skill sets and improvetheir productivity.14. Participate in allbusiness review meetings sales review meetings as perplan.15. Actively participate in all tradeshows / exhibitions to promote Food Ingredient Business generatenew business leads and track and monitor sales levelprogress.


    Qualification andExperience Education:

    B.Tech/ B.


    Sc ( food technology / food science) preferablyMBA Experience: 1520 years experience inSales new Business Development with a Food ingredient company ofrepute.

    Demonstrated strong businessdevelopment and key account managementexposure.
    CompetenciesStrategic sales planning forecasting skills.
    High on execution skills. High on productcategory knowledge and understanding newertrends. Ability to manage pan India salesteam. Sound analytical &problemsolving skills Should have a growthmindset. Strong customer relationshipmanagement skills.
