    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage a team of professionals across supply chain, logistics, and plant operations.
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the entire supply chain, from sourcing raw materials to delivering finished products.
    • Manage all aspects of plant operations, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and adherence to safety regulations across multiple units.
    • Oversee contract manufacturing processes and ensure smooth collaboration with external partners.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers and vendors across Africa, India, the Middle East, and the European Region.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste within the supply chain and plant operations.
    • Implement and maintain best practices in quality control, inventory management, and production planning.
    • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the smooth operation of the supply chain and plant functions.
    • Utilize data analytics to identify trends, optimize processes, and make informed decisions.
    • Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the supply chain and plant operations teams.
    • Report directly to the Vice President and provide strategic leadership on supply chain and plant operations initiatives.
    • Travel internationally to visit manufacturing units, meet with suppliers, and participate in industry events (as needed).

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 15+ years of experience in a leadership role within the food manufacturing industry.
    • Proven track record of success in optimizing supply chains, managing plant operations, and ensuring efficient production.
    • Indepth understanding of international logistics, import/export regulations, and global trade practices (experience in Africa, India, the Middle East, and the European Region is a plus).
    • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
    • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
    • Experience in implementing and managing continuous improvement programs (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
    • Proficiency in using supply chain and inventory management software systems.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
