Job Title: Senior React Native Developer (Mandatory Healthcare Mobile App)

Location: Remote

Experience Required: 4+ years

Employment Type: Contract (with an option to hire as permanent)

Role Description

• Collaborate with the product management and design teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable tasks.
• Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code using React Native for healthcare mobile applications.
• Implement responsive UI components and ensure cross-platform compatibility across iOS and Android devices.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services, such as healthcare data systems, authentication, and payment gateways, while ensuring data security and privacy compliance.
• Optimize application performance, including speed and responsiveness, and conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in mobile development, particularly in the healthcare domain.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct code reviews and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions within the team.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, ensuring the delivery of robust and reliable applications.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• · Work closely with stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and end-users, to gather feedback and iterate on application features for enhanced user experience and functionality.

What you'll have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4-5 years of hands-on experience in mobile app development using React Native, with a focus on healthcare applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and related libraries and frameworks (e.g., Redux, Axios) for front-end development.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles, including responsive design and platform-specific UI guidelines.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and asynchronous programming concepts.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications or training in mobile app development, healthcare IT, or related fields would be a plus.
