Job Description:

Software development engineers in test (SDETs) are software developers working within the testing team.

They have full access to code and carry various responsibilities, including debugging and altering the code as necessary.

In this capacity, they often assume a hybrid role between developers and testers, with much of their development time spent creating or updating code for their test automation framework.

We are seeking a Senior SDET to design and implement test solutions across all testing phases, establishing and following quality standards to deliver high-quality releases.

This is an opportunity to learn, lead, and work on new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and support test automation scripts for test infrastructure and provide automation solutions.

- Build comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases for new features, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing.

- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.

- Work with cross-functional agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery.

- Take ownership of a robust QA environment, including test databases and system deployments.

- Devise test strategies, develop high-level test scenarios, and elaborate scenarios into detailed test cases.

- Conduct training and best practice sessions with the QA Team.

- Collaborate with Development, System Architecture, and Product teams to analyze, debug, and resolve design or code issues.

Technical Skills Requirements:

- Strong coding experience in Java/Groovy, Selenium, Database (relational), Unit Testing framework, and performance testing.

- Experience in building testing frameworks (BDD Cucumber/TestNG).

- Hands-on experience in Frontend automation using Selenium or any other tool.

- Experience in Web Services Automation using Java/Groovy.

- Knowledge of build tools (Gradle/Maven/ANT).

- Experience with Agile Methodologies and Tools (JIRA, Confluence).

- Exposure to Continuous Integration using Bamboo/Jenkins.

- Good knowledge of performance & Security testing.

- Working knowledge of Unix commands.
