Overview

The SEO Specialist plays a crucial role in developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to drive organic traffic and improve the online visibility of our organization. They are responsible for optimizing website content, conducting keyword research, and analyzing website performance to enhance our digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research and analysis to guide content optimization strategies.
• Implement on-page optimization techniques to improve website visibility and SERP rankings.
• Develop and execute off-page optimization techniques, including link building and outreach campaigns.
• Monitor and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Create and manage SEO campaigns, including content creation and distribution.
• Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes to modify strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with content creators and web developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website design and content creation.
• Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify areas for improvement.
• Optimize website structure and navigation to enhance user experience and search engine crawlability.
• Provide SEO recommendations for website architecture, content, and linking.
• Generate regular performance reports and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in search engine marketing and industry best practices.
• Identify and address technical SEO issues to improve website performance.
• Participate in the development and implementation of link building strategies.
• Lead and coordinate testing and implementation of SEO tactics to improve site performance.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven work experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective SEO strategies.
• Proficiency in keyword research and analysis using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, or Ahrefs.
• Expertise in on-page and off-page optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website administration.
• Experience with Google Analytics and other SEO performance tracking tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
