    Senior Engineering ManagerEurofins IT Solutions, Bengaluru, Karnataka, IndiaWith facilities in Europe, the United States and Asia, Eurofins Genomics is an internationally leading provider of DNA sequencing services, genotyping services, DNA synthesis products and bioinformatics services for pharma, diagnostics, food, agriculture, biotechnological and research markets.

    Genomics business is enabled by global engineering teams working on next-generation applications and Laboratory information management systems (LIMS).

    As a Senior leader, you will leverage your extensive technical expertise to design and develop e-Commerce solutions for B2B and B2C portal.

    These are sophisticated computer programs that will be used by our Academica and Industrial clients.

    The product you build and deliver is strategic to the success of Genomics business lineWorking closely with diverse stakeholders, you will deliver a product that exceeds expectations and drives innovation.

    You will be empowered to influence and drive key decisions and with your leadership skills, navigate the complex Eurofins network.

    We are looking for leaders who will uphold the high-performance culture at Eurofins and as a senior manager, you will interface with the business and lead teams of developers, testers, scrum masters, and managers who will look up to you for support and guidance every day.

    This role reports to Director (IT Solutions) and involves international travel (10%)Primary Responsibilities
    :
    In this role as Sr.

    Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a eCommerce solution from concept to delivery, building and working with a high performing team in the process and also oversee the sunset of existing platform.

    The individual will be part of leadership team and collaborate with geographically distributed teams, including developer, DevOps, Cloud engineers, support.


    Specific Assignments:
    Responsible for hiring, coaching and mentoring a high performing team.
    Provides strategic consultation to Business and IT leadership, recommendations and manages the entire project life-cycle phases.

    Defines priorities, elaborates roadmaps, and ensures that project deliverables are in line with the business requirements, delivered on schedule, and meeting the quality standards defined.

    Responsible for performance appraisal of the team members with regular 1-1 and providing constructive feedback to build individual competency and growth.

    Collaborate with other leaders to drive a culture of learning and elevating team maturity.
    Apply strong engineering principles to drive the best development practices.
    Technically hands-on and support and guide the team members in Design reviews and driving the best engineering practices.
    Be an evangelist of agility and ensure the development teams are practicing the core agile principles and values.

    Develop and Deliver high quality shippable product as per the scope of the program working with internal and external stakeholders.

    Report to Project Steering Committee as per the schedule. This includes both functional reports to the Program Director and Project status reports for senior management review.

    Skills required:
    Extensive experience in working with people and stakeholders across geographies.

    Extensive experience in developing e-commerce solutions and applications in Microsoft technologiesStrong experience with enterprise architecture and development practicesStrong experience in an Agile development environment and toolsStrong orientation towards data driven insights.

    Experience in Automation and Performance engineeringExperience working with stakeholders, preferably with US and EuropePassionate about software development with very good communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:

    Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.

    Minimum 15 years of experience in IT Application/Software development with atleast 5 years in leadership roleExperience of at least 1 enterprise eCommerce application from concept to deliveryWorking experience with Product development organizations of PedigreeTech Stack:

    Angular 12 and above, .NET Core, Azure Cloud, CMS experience (Umbraco, Sitecore.), SQL Server, Development tools, Excel, Azure DevOps, UI/UX tools
