    Description

    Job Title: Procurement Specialist

     

    Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at {company}. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process, from researching potential vendors to negotiating contract terms and pricing.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Search for tenders on government e-portals and convert PDF files into Excel format
    • Manage procurement processes for allotted and ongoing projects
    • Research and evaluate potential vendors
    • Compare and negotiate offers from suppliers
    • Review quality of materials before placing orders
    • Prepare purchase orders and issue them accordingly
    • Communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery
    • Maintain order details in internal databases and update records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices
    • Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records
    • Develop new vendor relationships and maintain good supplier relations through negotiation skills
    • Prepare weekly and monthly procurement reports

     

    Requirements:

    We require a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate should have experience in procurement and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

     

    Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
