    Description

    You will be responsible for defining marketing strategies across MFBCS , including brand (awareness campaigns, creative ideas, and image-building) and growth (SEO/SEM initiatives, landing pages optimizations, product creation, traffic/user acquisition, and other growth-related initiatives) strategy. You will accomplish this by collaborating with the relevant Executive and Marketing team members. You will be expected to work to build a comprehensive marketing strategy for MFBCS's programs, overseeing them to completion.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Understanding and Alignment: Become familiar with MFBCS programming objectives and client service philosophy, ensuring a clear understanding of your role in achieving contractual goals and outcomes.
    • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with MFBCS employees, managers, and volunteers to discuss media, website, and graphics needs, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
    • Content Creation: Assist in producing newsletters, campaign reports, or promotional materials to effectively communicate our initiatives and impact.
    • Graphic Design: Design eye-catching posters, newsletters, brochures, and produce/edit videos using various computer software, such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Canva, as needed.
    • Website Development: Take charge of the development and maintenance of our websites, ensuring they meet all SEO, performance, user experience, and other standards that match or exceed industry benchmarks.
    • Project Management: Manage projects efficiently utilizing our project management system (ASANA) to ensure deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
    • Effective Communication: Maintain constant communication with team members via Teams, Zoom, and other means, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed about ongoing initiatives.
    • Adaptability: Be prepared to perform any other assignments as required to support MFBCS's mission and objectives.
    • Online Presence: Assist in enhancing our online presence, including website management, email marketing, and other digital platforms.
    • Email Marketing: Design and execute engaging newsletters using platforms like MailChimp to keep our supporters informed and engaged.
    • Social Media Management: Produce captivating Instagram Stories and prepare graphics for blogs, websites, and various social media platforms to promote our activities effectively.
    • Proficiency in the use of office software applications including MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for communication and reporting.
    • Demonstrated ability using email marketing systems and content management systems (such as WordPress and Drupal).
    • Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, wikis, image formats, streaming media, and search engines.
    • Knowledge and demonstrated understanding of graphic design principles and a working proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite products including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Flash.
    • Ability to think creatively and use research and analytic skills.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in project management and ability to complete multiple projects with competing deadlines.
    • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills with proven ability to communicate with diverse audiences.
    • Demonstrated ability in copy-editing, proofreading and preparing content for publications, documents, reports, and communication materials for mass distribution.
    • Proficiency in event planning, coordination, and facilitation.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Multimedia, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Canva.
    • Experience in website development and SEO optimization.
    • 5+ years experience in marketing.
    • Familiarity with project management tools like ASANA.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Previous experience with email marketing platforms like MailChimp.
    • Creativity and a passion for making a positive impact in the community.
