    Description

    Job Summary:

    We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Expert to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our data warehouse on the Snowflake platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, best practices, and performance tuning techniques. This role will involve collaborating closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure our data infrastructure meets the needs of our business and regulatory requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement scalable, high-performance data warehouse solutions on the Snowflake platform.
    • Optimize Snowflake configurations, including clustering, partitioning, and resource utilization, to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
    • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake.
    • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Implement security controls and data governance policies to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance on Snowflake best practices, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
    • Stay abreast of new Snowflake features and capabilities and evaluate their potential impact on our data architecture and analytics capabilities.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
    • Proven experience designing, implementing, and optimizing data warehouse solutions on the Snowflake platform.
    • In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and capabilities, including data storage, compute resources, and data sharing.
    • Strong SQL skills and experience writing complex queries, stored procedures, and user-defined functions in Snowflake.
    • Experience with data modeling techniques and familiarity with data warehouse design principles.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality, reliable solutions.
    • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Relevant certifications such as SnowPro or Snowflake Certified Professional (preferred but not required).
