Job DescriptionThis position is for a Senior Software Test Engineer in the Software Test team who will focus on using in house and adopted Automation framework for testing data analysis pipeline that is used in the clinical laboratory to process patient samples and analyze their genomic profiles, helping to find the right treatment options for cancer patients based on a simple blood draw.

The position is based in India.

You'll need to have excellent communication and cross-group collaboration skills, be able to make forward progress despite ambiguous circumstances, be a self-starter, a quick learner of new technologies and have experience in test automation such as building integration framework with external tools, data management and CI/CD maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Participate in requirements and design review meetings to create comprehensive, automated test strategies/plans for software/tools leading to successful implementation and timely project completion.

Work with the software development team to understand functional specifications, identify, and design test case for software.
Work and collaborate with teams overseas. Required to have 4+ hr overlap with US time in Pacific Time Zone to start with.
Work with cross-functional teams, and support integration and regression testing of software.
Design, create, enhance and automated tests ensure excellent testing coverage.
Provide written documentation of software products and services verification and validation activities.

Provide coaching to other team members for designing test strategies and test cases with strong knowledge of Software Testing background.

Report, track, and escalate anomalies discovered during testing (All testing phases) and ensure closure on issues.

Perform Impact Analysis for incremental changes and identify the scope of regression / test cycles and execute them as needed.

Accept feedback with eagerness to learn more.
Participate in the Automation strategy for test case automation and maintenance.

Qualifications5+ years of experience as a SDET, developer or Test Automation Engineer3+ years of hands-on experience with Python and Pytest.

Proven Experience in UI Test automation with Selenium.
Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative coding workflows.
Experience testing API, Docker and React based applications.
Experience in work and collaborate with teams overseas.
Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.
Must have experience using tools such as JIRA /JAMA or similar.
Excellent organization and people skills with the ability to work across functions to ensure successful integration testing.
Nice to HaveExperience working in the life sciences and health care industry.
