    QC CATHODIC INSPECTOR

    Protection/ Corrosion Protection

    Job Location - Saudi Arabia

    food+ accommodation +transportation will be provided from the company

    Working hours- 10

    contract - 02 years

    Primary Duties:

     Implements inspection activities in accordance with the Project Quality Plan and Inspection /

    Test Procedures for inspection.

     Maintains a record of job specification and/or acceptance criteria of the items they cover for

    inspection.

     Check and ensure that the measuring test instruments being used during test and inspection

    operations are properly calibrated with valid certificates and stickers.

     Material receiving inspections against the P.O, Delivery Note, IFC drawings and MTCs.

     Maintains approved QC Checklist forms to be used during inspection.

     Ensures that all aspects of quality control in relation to contract documents are identified and

    observed.

     Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the 2015 version of ISO 9001 QMS

    requirements, engineering discipline drawings, standards, material specifications,

    construction methods and QC inspection and test procedures.

     CP installation projects (supervision) such as transformer rectifiers, ground bed, test stations,

    coupons and reference electrodes

     Preparing surveillance reports for all CP site surveys and investigations.

     CP commissioning activities

     Perform maintenance checks and troubleshooting tests of existing pipeline cathodic

    protection systems.

     Data analysis and reporting

     Responsible for obtaining field data to determine condition of structures under evaluation.

     As well as able to demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of equipment installations,

    preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, including materials, methods,

    specifications, and hazardous location classification.

     Direct work experience and demonstrated thorough knowledge of engineering codes and

    standards.

     Issue Non‐Conformance Report (NCR) to items not found acceptable and submit to QC

    Supervisor E&I for appropriate disposition.

     Prepares Punch List during the final stage of mechanical completion and submit to concern

    Production Units for corrective actions.

     Guiding production skilled workers for dimensional accuracy and work / product quality.

     Provide support and advice to the construction personnel in relation to Project Quality.

     Collect and review cathodic protection field data and test results, and write reports. Cathodic

    protection includes gathering annual pipe‐to‐soil surveys, gathering rectifier readings and

    troubleshooting rectifier units and performing interference testing.

     Be familiar with standard construction practices for corrosion control projects and systems.

     Be familiar with coating systems for external corrosion control.

    Qualifications:

     B.E Graduate or Equivalent; Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic or Communication Engineering.

     Minimum 5 years in oil & gas field with at least 3 years' experience of those years related to

    CP Inspection.

     SAUDI ARAMCO approval CBT (MUST HAVE).

     Exposure to site or plant inspection criteria and checklists.

     Proficient in interpretation of engineering documents and drawings.

     Shall be fully conversant with applicable Industry Standards and Specifications.

     Computer literate, familiar with proprietary administration software.

     Good interpersonal skills and Good communicator.

     Maintain a good standard of written and spoken English.
