    Description

    As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical inquiries regarding the use of and solve for our Electronic Support Services. A main point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and raised issues.

    · Excellent knowledge of the Linux OS internals and working experience different flavors of Linux like Oracle Linux,RHEL,CentOS and SUSE is an added advantage.
    · Experience in managing and fix Linux servers in a production environment.
    · Excellent system-level debugging skills and experience with one or more functions of Linux (. kernel, networking, file system, gcc).
    . Hands-on experience with the complete patch management lifecycle including testing, deploying, solve missing patches and patch issues, etc. applying the change management process and patch management and automation tools vital to ensure compliance and successful audits. OS security: hardening, selinux, iptables, certificates + secure boot
    . Expertise in Oracle Engineered system management [ Exadata, PCA, ZFSSA, ODA, SuperCluster]
    · Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and Cloud platforms is an added advantage.
    · Strong analytical and fix skills and excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
    . Perform operational tasks to resolve all incidents/requests promptly and within the agreed SLA.
    · Good customer interaction skills, and Customer focused with a pro-active and adaptable approach.
