    IT Technical Analyst NetworkInfrastructure Positions: 3
    • ShiftUS/UK (rotational) Shift Timing 5PM to 2 AM 11 PM to 8AM (Rotational shift) Shift allowance will be provided apart fromsalary.
    • Work from office for first6 months and then hybrid 2 times a week for work fromoffice
    • FREE pick and drop cabservice will be provided by the company 25km from office location.( Cunningham Road )

    Description
    • NetworkEngineer will be responsible for the design and implementation ofthe network used by Herman Miller Inc.
    • Keydesign goals include reliability serviceability and scalability.Provides technical support for the network switches routers cableplant and RF equipment infrastructure devices used to enablecommunications within thecorporation.
    • Recognized for network expertiseand sought as a resource for resolution of unique complexnetworkingproblems.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Installand maintain network devices.
    • Monitor thenetwork environment and resolve network problems required to shareoncall support i.e. 24x7 phone support.
    • Developand maintain network documentation and educate teammembers.

    ITTechnical Analyst NetworkInfrastructure
    1. Assistin network planning engineering architecture and the development ofstandards.
    2. Evaluate moderately complex existingnetwork systems and make recommendations forimprovement.
    3. Develop detailed networkspecifications and configure networkdevices.
    4. Assist in the evaluation of requestsfor new or modified networkconnectivity.
    5. Document network procedures andprocesses completely and accurately.
    6. Interfacewith vendors to identify and purchase hardware/software andevaluate new products as assigned.
    7. Recommendalternative solutions to reduce costs or improve service andreliability.
    8. Provide network expertise andknowledge to other members of the team in resolving complex networkproblems.
    9. Plan network projects involvingmultiple disciplines impacting multiple businessunits.
    10. Evaluate user requests and identifyrequirements.
    11. Establishpriorities.
    12. Perform additional requirements asoperations may require in support of achieving businessobjectives.

    MINIMUMREQUIREMENTS
    1. Bachelorsdegree in Information technology preferred orequivalent.
    2. 6 years of experience isessential.
    3. Cisco CCNA (Cisco Certified NetworkAssociate) Certification.
    4. Very strong oral andwritten communication skills.
    5. TransactionControl Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) networkexperience.
    6. Experience with Cisco Junipernetworking and software.
    7. Working experiencewith wireless x)communications.
    8. Experience with networkmanagement software and network tuning tools i.e. WiresharkObserver Orion and utilities.
    9. Able to workflexible hours and in shifts; weekend and Sunday testing andcoverage will be required as necessary; share 24x7 oncall supportwith other team members on rotation.
    10. Able totravel (10% up to 20% may berequired).
