    • Manage the PHP team, promoting elegant and practical solutions that meet business goals
    • Analyze system specifications and translate requirements into task specifications for team members
    • Provide accurate effort estimates for deliverables
    • Prioritize tasks and commit to deadlines through follow-up with team members
    • Resolve escalated technical issues

    Required Skills

    • Understanding of software architecture and n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, data access layer, integration components etc.)
    • Familiarity with each layer in the LAMP stack from application architecture and system infrastructure perspectives; experience in PHP, PERL, and MYSQL programming
    • Expert-level skills in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (jQuery)
    • Experience in front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like jQuery and AngularJS
    • Experience with Linux server installation and application/database optimization
    • Experience working with design patterns to solve problems
    • Expert-level Object-Oriented Design and MVC implementation
    • Experience in team development settings using distributed source code repositories like GIT
    • Experience in DB design (data normalization, foreign key constraints, indexes)

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with PHP frameworks such as CakePHP, SugarCRM, Moodle, Joomla, WordPress etc.
    • Experience with Tomcat and Weblogic/Websphere servers

    Interpersonal Skills

    We seek someone adaptable to new environments and technologies, with strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

    Qualifications

    A degree in B.E., Computer Science or Computer Engineering is preferred, but any graduate or postgraduate degree is acceptable.
