    Description

    Job Description:

    • Having knowledge of VaR, Volatility, Stress tests and Risk sensitivities.
    • Conducting systematic model testing for VaR, Volatility, TE and supporting Back testing
    • Conducting systematic model testing for Stress tests
    • Providing timely and precise market data for internal Market risk systems.
    • Analyzing time series data for valuable information that could benefit Risk Managers, like market liquidity and hedge efficiency.
    • Validating time series data, including security pricing, asset pricing, index, corporate actions, trading data, and market level data.
    • Managing daily production, data integrity, and testing projects
    • Understanding regulatory framework like UCITS guidelines and Market Risk directive CAD 2.
    • Role involves comprehending processes to calculate risk numbers obtained from various risk feeds through statistical and other methods.
    • Collaborating with Risk data providers, Business, IT, Controllers, Operations, and counterparts in different regions
    • Ensuring accurate and timely processing, operations, and controls
    • Establishing connections with service providers and enhancing KPIs
    • Handling client set up alongside Implementation Team, confirming and developing client requirements during Fund on-boarding
    • Managing On-Boarding and setup of new client reporting requests and ensuring smooth Investor communications
    • Emphasizing on service delivery excellence and performing well under pressure
    • Concentrating on developing and maintaining quality and control systems

    Skills/Experience Required

    • 6+ years of experience in Financial services within Market Risk Management, Market Risk Reporting, or Market Capital Reporting at an Investment Bank.
    • Good understanding of financial instruments, including complex OTC products such as COCO bonds
    • Familiarity with Hedge Fund Strategies and investments
    • Ability to collaborate in a team to meet strict deadlines
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Capability to optimize processes and implement automation

    Education

    CA/CFA/FRM or equivalent
