    Position Summary
    :
    Bechtel is currently seeking a Sr.

    Analyst in CNS Operations for day-to-day operations in EAMS and APAC regions, which includes Europe, Middle East, India, Singapore, and Australia regions etc.

    The CNS Operations team deploys, maintains, and troubleshoots IT Core Network infrastructure products and technologies deployed at globally dispersed datacenters; offices; job sites etc., in close coordination with other Bechtel IT teams.

    Job responsibility will involve application of a significant range of fundamental information technology principles in a variety of contexts while demonstrating leadership.

    Participation in selection, implementation, and communications of information technology initiatives to meet customers' needs in a variety of technical areas and situations.


    Essential Job Duties:

    Operational Responsibilities:

    Close co-ordination with local as well as globally dispersed teams on day-to-day activities including but not limited to on-prem and cloud-based server and storage systems, back-up and recovery tools and processes as well as maintenance Takes ownership of asset life cycle management and attribution and maintains compliance of data center assets and configuration items Plans for and ensures the implementation of enterprise-wide system changes following established change management processes Develops / implements policy and procedures to ensure consistency of work process and establishes standards to ensure operational efficiency across the regions.

    Develops budgets for functional areas including projections for current and future needs Analyzes cross-functional work processes and produces structured recommendations on optimization methods.

    Monitors and reports on operational performance Coordinates activities and improvements with peers in CNS team globally Plans, manages, and leads CNS technology initiatives and projects through local/ virtual teamsTeam Management:

    Provides technical and functional direction and allocates work responsibilities to the team members and takes full responsibility for quality of work performed.

    Sets priorities, monitors performance, identifies skill-gaps and implements plans to bridge the gaps and develop competence in the team members.

    Takes ownership of vendor management including product evaluation, roadmaps, support, etc. and represents team in internal and external interfaces.

    Provides support to end user customers in IS&T and other Bechtel functions as requiredJob Knowledge:

    Knowledge of network architecture, operations management, security, and technologyKnowledge of cloud technologies, network infrastructure systems, architecture concepts, configurations, and standardsKnowledge of corporate, industry and professional standardsExcellent focus on customers, peers, and key vendor relationships to ensure expectations are metAbility to work efficiently with geographically dispersed project teamsStrong leadership skills and the ability to recognize and reward employee and team contributionsSkilled in presenting well-organized and convincing information that is clear and efficient and can be understood by all audiencesBasic Qualifications:

    Recognized Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited college or university or in lieu of a college degree, 18+ years of practical work experience in information technology or other relevant experience with specialized courses in network/telecommunications, customer support, and/or network infrastructure operations15+ years' rich knowledge experience in configuring and managing Juniper and Cisco equipment including firewalls, routers, switches, zoning, access control lists and route filters.15+ years enterprise experience working with Inter Exchange and LEC carriers to provision services, connectivity as well as resolving problems.

    15+ years or more experience in leading and managing complex IT network infrastructure projectsOther Qualifications:

    Comprehensive understanding of TCP, IP, Ethernet, Wireless LAN, IPSec VPN, SSL mesh and non-mesh WAN topologies, etc.
    Experience with protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPLS, VRF, SDWAN and other networking protocols. Hands on experience with Cisco Nexus 9K, 7K, 5K, BigIP exp. desirable.
    Ability to provide solutions to complex LAN, WAN requirements and problems.
    Understanding of advanced technologies such as encryption, QoS, CoS, policy-based routing, 802.1x, WPA2, 802.11, WAN acceleration and caching.

    Experience with industry practices in network security and networking technologies with various network equipment vendors as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto, SilverPeak etc.

    Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to document technical processes in written format and within a timely manner.

    Good time management skills with a focus on quality service and deliverables.
    CCNP / CCNA or other technology certifications in related technologies are a plus.
    Familiarity with ITIL terminology and practicesTechnical writing skills, express technical material incisively both in writing and via diagrams. Experience using Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Word to clearly articulate ideas and document procedures.
