- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 7 to 10 years of industry experience in physical design
- In-depth knowledge of EDA tools such as Synopsys, Cadence, and Mentor Graphics
- Strong understanding of advanced physical design methodologies and flow
- Experience with floor planning, placement, and timing closure
- Proficient in TCL and Perl scripting
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Lead and manage physical design projects from start to finish
- Collaborate with design teams to create floorplans and ensure proper placement of functional blocks
- Perform synthesis and timing closure for complex designs
- Optimize power, performance, and area (PPA) metrics through innovative design techniques
- Work closely with EDA tool vendors to evaluate and adopt new tools and methodologies
- Ensure designs meet quality and performance specifications
- Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical expertise and guidance
