Builtx Sustainable Design and Construction (Builtx SDC), a pioneering company dedicated to sustainable construction for non-profit organizations, is seeking an Architect & Design Intern to join our team. Builtx SDC founded by a Stanford grad is India's first construction company solely partnering with non-profit organizations. We combine three decades of experience in the construction industry with a socially conscious approach, aiming to create positive change, one structure at a time. Our focus is on sustainable design and construction practices, ensuring our projects align with the values and mission of our non-profit partners.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the design and construction teams to develop architectural plans and drawings.
Assist in conducting site visits, surveys, and analyses for upcoming projects.
Contribute to the creation of sustainable design concepts that align with Builtx SDC's vision.
Participate in project meetings and provide input on design decisions and material selections.
Support in preparing detailed documentation, including construction drawings and specifications.
Research and stay updated on industry trends, sustainable materials, and construction techniques.
Assist in reviewing and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
Work closely with the project team to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Architecture or a related field.
Knowledge of architectural design principles, building materials, and construction techniques.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other architectural software.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Passion for sustainable design and social impact.
