- Building simulation (Energy & Day-Lighting)
- Micro-climate studies (Shading analysis, sun-path analysis, solar insolation, wind flow etc.)
- Client interaction for Design
- Preparation of simulation reports
- Lead a team of Building simulation engineers to deliver simulation studies for Green Building (LEED/IGBC/GRIHA) compliance.
- Plan the simulation work on monthly basis and distribute work among team members.
- Coordinate with Facilitation team to ensure project information is available on time to carry out simulations.
- Weekly review the progress of work with team members.
- Ensure quality simulation reports for new projects and review replies so that targeted number of points are achieved for the project.
- Understand owner's requirement in terms of building architectural and Electro-Mechanical systems
- Independently develop project model in simulation software and provide various energy conservation alternatives to the client.
- Prepare detailed Energy / Daylight simulation report
- Present the report and clarify all the issues pertaining to design, materials and cost
- Close interaction with client and other consultants for timely receipt of design inputs and revisions
- Submission of energy credits for LEED/IGBC/GRIHA review and provide clarifications to review comments.
- Interact with vendors of sustainable building materials and energy efficient technologies. Create database for the same.
