4R Recycling Pvt Ltd., a Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) & Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) authorized end-to-end e-waste recycling facility established in 2012 and based in Peenya, Bengaluru. Our facility, spanning approximately 11,000 square feet, is equipped for the dismantling, segregation, data destruction, and recycling of e-waste in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Engineer at 4R RECYCLING PRIVATE LIMITED, located in Bengaluru. The EHS Engineer will be responsible for implementing safety protocols, managing environmental health and safety processes, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. This role involves conducting risk assessments, providing safety training programs, and actively monitoring and improving workplace safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Management:
Oversee all submissions and regulatory alignment with KSPCB and CPCB guidelines.
- EHS Leadership:
Plan and execute all internal Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives.
- Documentation & Standards:
Manage reporting and implementation for EHS, E-Waste recycling, ISO, and R2v3 certifications.
- Training & Auditing:
Lead internal audits, Co-Ordinate Audits by External agencies, EHS training programs, and organizational awareness campaigns.
- Regulatory & Factory Compliance:
Manage all state and central pollution control board requirements alongside broader industrial and factory-level legal standards.
Requirements:
- Education:
Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Environmental Science or Environmental, Mechanical or Civil Engineering. - Experience:
3-5 years of experience in a similar EHS function is preferred. - Language Skills:
Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English, with the ability to speak Kannada. - Computer Proficiency:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email communication. - Accountability:
Capable of managing responsibilities independently with minimal supervision in a factory setting. - Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position requiring on-site work six days a week. This is not a work-from-home opportunity.
