    Description

    Purpose

    The Head of Curriculum is a pedagogical leader responsible for the management of the entire International Baccalaureate program at the school.

    Demonstrating a deep understanding and aiming towards strategic development of the IB Programmes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Mentor IB educators in building the brand of the school by fulfilling the needs of all stakeholders and building the culture in line with the mission and values.
    • Lead the school and its staff to achieve extremely high standards of teaching and learning, behaviour and attainment.
    • Form effective external relationships with parents, the local community, wider IB community, the IB office and other stakeholders.
    • Work with other senior staff to oversee the use of finance, facilities and other resources across the school.
    • Oversee compliance with state, national, and IB policies, success of instructional programs, and operation of all MYP activities and common school activities.
