Senior QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

Architect test automation frameworks from scratchDevelop automated functional UI tests & API/Service level testsIntegrate automated scripts into CI/CD processDevelop, maintain and expand automated testing infrastructureDevise and document test frameworks, coding standards, preferred design patterns, and development methodologiesEnsure code quality with peer reviews to ensure guidelines and standards are followedDefine Quality Metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness testing efficiency and measure the overall quality of the Product as a part of test automation processMake a conclusion and report about the quality of the product under testCollaborate with other members of the QA team to automate the manual test processesManage, analyse and mitigate testing risksOnboarding of new team members on the projectTechnical advice for the testing teams

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in QA Automation of Selenium with Java2 years of experience in backend/API testingExcellent knowledge of different testing methods, techniques, types and methodologiesExperience in creation of test documentation (test strategy, test plans,Experience in the creation of automation frameworks from scratchSolid skills in Java, programming patterns and principlesExperience in integrating of test reporting (Allure or similar)Deliver quality-assured automation scripts using web & API (REST/SOAP) based automation tools (.

Selenium, Rest Assured)Familiarity with any automated test framework, preferably Cucumber, BDD, etc.

and should have contributed to the development/implementation of automation test toolsExperience with BDD, ATDD, and TDD approachesExperience with continuous integration processes and tools, CI/CD pipelinesGood knowledge of AWS/Azure DevOps servicesExperience with message brokers/queues:
SQS, SNS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etcGood Knowledge of SQL and no-SQL DBs (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MariaDBHands-on experience with DockerExperience of working in an Agile Scrum/Kanban development environmentGood English skills – Upper-Intermediate and aboveBachelor's / Engineering degree (IT / Computer Science will be added advantage)

Desirable

Experience with mobile automation, cloud device farmsKnowledge of other programming languages would be a great plusIntegration of GDPR principles in automated testing
