    Job Description

    • Develop, write, and update aircraft maintenance manuals in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather technical information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
    • Create clear, concise, and well-organized technical content for the manuals, ensuring readability and user-friendliness.
    • Translate complex technical information into easily understandable language for a diverse audience, including maintenance technicians and engineers.
    • Stay informed about aviation regulations and ensure that all manuals adhere to the latest regulatory standards.
    • Work closely with regulatory affairs teams to obtain necessary approvals and certifications for the manuals.
    • Regularly review and update existing manuals to reflect changes in aircraft configurations, systems, and maintenance procedures.
    • Manage revision control processes and maintain version histories for documentation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and technical publications, to gather information and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    • Address feedback from various stakeholders to improve the clarity and effectiveness of manuals.
    • Conduct quality checks on manual content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established standards.
    • Implement feedback loops to continuously improve the quality of documentation.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (aviation, engineering, technical writing, etc.).
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in aircraft maintenance manual development or a related field.
    • In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and maintenance procedures.
    • Strong technical writing skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
    • Familiarity with aviation regulations and standards (FAA, EASA, etc.).
    • Proficiency in using documentation tools and software.
